Introduces the thumb and finger moves of the cross fibre technique. Various spinal treatment routines from lumbar to cervicals are explored. Includes some important stretching routines and exercises for the client to improve their treatment results. At the end of the course, participants will be able to perform basic Bowen cross fibre skills, and undertake a selection of individual routines for specific conditions. Topics covered include history of Bowen Therapy, its approach and philosophy, steps involved in performing the cross fibre moves, the four basic spinal routines, therapeutic movement, Eastern and Western approaches to disease and complimentary therapies in our health care system.Course Objectives: At the end of the course, participants will be able to perform basic Bowen cross fibre skills, and undertake a selection of individual routines for specific conditions.
