About Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils from plant sources, as therapeutic agents to seek to influence, change or modify, mind body or spirit, physiology or mood. Aromatherapy is an industry with varying forms. Based on the training of the individual and the way in which essential oils are used, there are four clearly definable branches of aromatherapy. These include aesthetic aromatherapy practised by beauty therapists, holistic aromatherapy practised by aromatherapists; psychoaromatherapy practised by aromathologists; and aromatic medicine practised by medical practitioners and aromatologists.
