The presence of a Spa Clinic within the vicinity of the Academy is to facilitate and develop our students’ skills in retail and beauty treatment techniques.  Its purpose is to facilitate and develop student welfare, ensuring that the facility provides a strong value to the students’ learning process in practice and professionalism. 

Located on the ground floor of South Gate,  the Clinic houses a professional public day spa set-up, complete with a Vichy Rain Shower and professional Wet Steam Hydrotherapy Bath with full entertainment to provide all the benefits of spa and water treatments.  This beauty clinic and day spa also retail professional body and spa products, a complete range of natural skin care ingredients for practitioners, and many more products relating to good health and natural therapies.  

   

 
 The spa was conceptualised and furnished to reflect professional operations in the delivery.  This concept confirms the Academy’s commitment to equipping students with the fundamentals of spa operations and effective spa management.  This benefits our students by engaging them in clinical practice, and adding a new dimension to their professional development as a total wellness aficionado.  

The facility is tastefully furnished to provide a pleasant, professional and warm environment for clients. Clients can expect to experience professional services and facilities similar to those of an industry spa. The industry professionalism is strictly adhered to by our students who are chosen to undertake their clinical practice at the clinic. 

Spapos Wellness Clinic offers a complete array of spa facilities and treatments. Highlighted are two of the specialised treatment offered: 

The Vichy Rain Shower
A series of warm stimulating jets that are positioned strategically over identified tension regions and drench the tension regions under the cascading rain bar.  The pressure is varied to suit one’s needs. While the hydro-jets target strategic areas, the therapist incorporates a series of synergy applied massage techniques including the use of specially designed  aromatic blends to enhance the treatment for a reassuring and relaxing effect.

The Wet Steam Hydrotherapy Bath
 The natural, relaxing, soothing and healing effect of water therapy is exploited to generate a sense of harmony, relaxation and peace.  The Hydrotherapy session has detoxification benefits and relaxes one with its sequence of massaging jets. Customised application of aromatherapy oils is also used, and specialised water pressure applications emitted from the bath are complemented to compound the treatment.
