SUMMARY OF METAMORPHOSIS

Metamorphosis was developed in the late 1950’s by an Englishman, Robert St. John.

After a number of years of exploring different areas in health St. John observed that our primary attitude of mind towards life was formed at the moment of conception, that conception was our most formative time, the most influential. What happens to us after we are born, is the least influential. The experiences of life and our attitude of mind towards those experiences only compounds the already existing attitude which was formed at conception.

A controversial theory, over much of his life he continued to formulate a point of view which logically supported this initial observation as well as bringing to light many other factors.

He saw that the outcome of those conceptual influences produced two primary attitudes of mind towards life, one of compulsive retreat and one of compulsive attack, which he respectively termed Afferent and Efferent. The Afferently orientated person suffers primarily from psychological and behavioural disturbances. The Efferently oriented person primarily suffers from behavioural and physical disturbances. They have diametrically opposite viewpoints and one incites the other unconsciously, with neither really realising this but each compelled to react to the other. This constant unconscious incitement coupled with the individual’s own personal unconscious disturbances can produce aberrance in the psychological, behavioural and physical function of the individual.

The method he developed for enabling the person to deal with these fundamental attitudes is a simple and non-intrusive practice. It is not a talking therapy. We use reflex points on the feet, hands and head to access the unconscious disturbing influences which conditioned that first cell. The origin of these disturbances stems from genetic inheritance and from thought patterns which has an affinity with the genes.

The changes observed from the use of Metamorphosis are fundamental and permanent. It can be taught to, and used by, anyone with no limit to the age of the person or the severity of the condition.

METAMORPHOSIS with Donna Armanasco

Donna Armanasco was the person closest to Robert St. John in the last 6 years of his life. As the private student of St. John during those years, she brings to her seminars a unique understanding of Metamorphosis.

She has lectured in Germany, Netherlands, Wales, England and Northern and Southern Ireland, in South Africa and in the USA including California, New York and Arizona.

Donna has been in private practice since 1994 with a clientele ranging from children with behavioural difficulties – ADD, ADHA – autism and sexual abuse, to adult with a variety of psychological and behavioural problems – drug and alchohol abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse and satanic ritual.

Since 2006 she has been collating and publishing the writings of the author of Metamorphosis, Robert St. John.

In the last 10 years of his life Robert St. John took Metamorphosis to another level which I have only touched on in my 2-day introductory courses over the last few years. Donna has an understanding of these aspects which is exceptional. If Metamorphosis is of interest to you I suggest that you don’t miss this seminar.  Lynn Hatswell.
