Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to perform basic spinal assessment, deep tissue, fascia stretching and cross fibre skills. They will be able to undertake a selection of individual routines of the spine for specific conditions.
Topics covered:
  • History of Musculoskeletal therapy
  • Steps involved in performing the cross fibre moves and other treatment techniques
  • Basic spinal routines
  • Eastern and Western approaches to disease
  • Complimentary therapies in our health care system

** 1 day clinical practice is available for students on this course at our Monthly Sunday Clinic but for those who intend to pursue a qualification in MST, these clinical hours will be counted toward to clinical practice. Clinic hours 9.00am to 3.00pm., Booking is required.
Pre-requisite: Bowen Therapy 1 or equivalent.

Who Should Attend: Massage therapists and health professional that are keen to include Musculoskeletal therapy into their skill set.

What to do Next?

Certificate: Certificate of Completion from Australasian Academy of Wellness Therapies.

Progression: Certificate in Musculoskeletal Therapy/ Diploma of Musculoskeletal Therapy/ Advanced Diploma in Musculoskeletal Therapy.
