Trainer/Assessor

Are you looking to inspire the next generation of industry professionals?The Australasian Academy of Wellness Therapies is looking for trainers in Natural Therapies including, Musculoskeletal Therapy, Massage Therapy, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. We are also seeking trainers for our courses Beauty and Business to teach nationally recognised qualifications from the HLT07 and SIB10 training packages.We are at an exciting stage of development and growth and we are seeking full time and contract Trainers and Assessors to educate and inspire individuals to turn their passion for health and beauty into enjoyable careers!
Responsibilities include:
Delivering training for relevant units and qualifications on scope within HLT07 and SIB10 training packages and our accredited courses in Musculoskeletal Therapy.
Conducting marking, recording & provision of feedback on student assessments
Conducting moderation and validation of course curriculum
Pursuing and participating in internal and external professional development
Maintaining compliance with all College, AQTF and VQF Standards
The successful applicant must have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge relevant to qualifications
Equivalent or higher qualifications to those being taught
Current Senior First Aid
Working with Children Check (or in the process of obtaining one)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) or (TAE40110) *
*Please note trainers with TAA will be required to commence upgrade within 6 months of commencing employment
