Introduction:
Interest in aromatherapy has grown significantly and is practiced by many as a form of therapy. Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils from plant sources, as therapeutic agents seeking to influence, change or modify mind, body or spirit, physiology or mood.

Come and learn natural and pleasurable ways to restore vitality, enhance emotional well-being, stimulate the body's immunity and use as a basic first aid tool.

Course Objectives:
At the end of these sessions, participants have a general but thorough understanding in the principles of Aromatherapy. Each individual will appreciate the qualities of therapeutic oils and understand the benefits, limitations and hazards of each type of oil and their safety issues.

  • Introduction to aromatherapy and history
  • Olfactory System
  • The skin
  • Skin diseases
  • Quality Control, hazardous oils and safety
  • Study guide to essential oils
  • Blending of essential and carrier mediums
  • Methods of using essential oils

 

* Dress Code: Required to wear school T-shirt and black pant

Who Should Attend: Individuals who have a keen interest in aromatherapy, alternative and homoeopathic therapies and those interested in complementing wellness therapies.
