Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy is a comprehensive course of beauty knowledge and skills designed for the Beauty Specialist. It is ideal for gaining potential employment in a Salon or for an entrepreneurial home-based business. The graduate will be able to perform beauty treatments with confidence and professionalism. There is also an opportunity to qualify for an International Diploma for Beauty Specialist (fees self-borne). This course specialises in skin science, facials and advanced facial treatments.

  • Theory and practical classes
  • Study requirements of a minimum of 8 hours per week of non-guided study
  • Minimum of year 11 literacy and numeracy standards
  • Social maturity and mature presentation are requirements

 

Applicants without the requisite qualification but with demonstrable knowledge and relevant experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered individually.

Wellness Clinic hours are an integral component of training and must be fully completed and verified to gain competency.

Enrolment and Payment of Course Fees

A deposit of 20% of the tuition fee is required to reserve a place for this course. The tuition fee for all full-time courses will be paid on a semestral basis before the start of each semester. The tuition fee DOES NOT include the cost of ITEC (International) exams. Student wishing to undertake ITEC (International) exams will be required to pay additional fees as per ITEC charges at prevailing exchange rates. (International students are required to pay the Overseas Student Health Cover plus Registration Fee with the 20% tuition deposit.)

Student kit items are carefully selected for the industry professional with quality products and implements. Payment for the student kit and texts materials is due two weeks before course commences for all students.

Uniform may be ordered at enrolment for students or during induction week, and are payable on delivery. Students must hold a current Basic First Aid Certificate at the completion of this course.

Extra tuition classes are subject to student requirements and minimum class numbers.
