Certificate II in Make-Up Services is designed as a basic level of qualification for the Beauty Industry. It offers individuals an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in beauty, make-up applications and relevant workplace professionalism. This enriching and rewarding course forms the foundations for a career can lead to employment in a beauty salon, specialised salons, or from home. For the student who is already working, our after-hours classes make it possible to fit study into your existing work commitments.
- Part-time course of 1 day per week for 12 weeks or
- For students studying Certificate III or higher, for 6/12 weeks
- Study requirements of a minimum of 8 hours per week of guided study
- Minimum of year 11 literacy and numeracy standards
- Social maturity and mature presentation are requirements
- Student intakes regularly throughout the year
Applicants without the requisite qualification but with demonstrable knowledge and relevant experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered individually.
*Students in the 20 weeks course cover all the above subjects. Students in the 10 week course only complete the subjects in the second column.

Enrolment and Payment of Course Fees
A deposit of 20% of the tuition fee is required to reserve a place for this course. The balance is payable in full, before commencement of the course or, for local students only, by our Easy Payment Plan.
Student kit items are carefully selected for the industry professional with quality products and implements. Payment for the Student Kit and Texts materials are due two weeks before the course commences for all students.
Students who hold other National Beauty Training Package qualifications with relevant units of competency may apply for Recognised Prior Learning if they wish to enrol in the six week course. RPL application must be made on enrolment or at least four weeks before the course begins. Ask the Program Support Team for further information.
Uniforms are not required for this course. Students are asked to wear school T-shirt and black pants.
