Certificate III in Beauty Services is an introductory level of Beauty Therapy providing students with the knowledge and skills required to provide treatments and retail-based services with confidence and professionalism. It can be added to a complimentary qualification such as massage, aromatherapy, natural therapies or hairdressing. Certificate III in Beauty Services is the perfect entry point into the growth industry of personal care and grooming and will get your business started in the area of beauty therapy.

  • Part time course of 2 days a week for 18 weeks 
  • Theory and practical classes
  • Study requirements of a minimum of 8 hours per week of guided study
  • Minimum of year 12 literacy and numeracy standards
  • Social maturity and mature presentation are requirements
  • Regular student intakes

 

Applicants without the requisite qualification but with demonstrable knowledge and relevant experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered individually.

Units from the Accredited Beauty Training Package for the Certificate III level are covered in the syllabus. The following is an outline of units offered in this course.

  • Design and apply make-up for photography
  • Design and apply remedial camouflage make-up
  • Work in a nail services framework
  • Provide manicure and pedicure services
      
    Group A - General Beauty
  • Advise on beauty services
  • Demonstrate retail skin care products
  • Provide lash and brow treatments
  • Perform waxing treatments

  • Certificate II in Nail Technology or
  • Certificate II in Retail Makeup and Skin Care
Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy
AAOWT reserves the right in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework guidelines, to update and/or alter the units offered to ensure valid and current qualifications.

Clinic practice hours are an integral component of training and must be fully completed and verified to gain competency.

Enrolment and Payment of Course Fees

A deposit of  $88.00 (enrolment fee) is required to reserve a place for this course. The course fee is payable in full 2 weeks before course commences or by our Easy Payment Plan. 

Student kit items are carefully selected for the industry professional with quality products and implements. Payment for the student kit and course materials are due one week before the course commences for all students.
