Introduction:
Introduces the thumb and finger moves of the cross fibre technique. Various spinal treatment routines from lumbar to cervicals are explored. Includes some important stretching routines and exercises for the client to improve their treatment results.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to perform basic Bowen cross fibre skills, and undertake a selection of individual routines for specific conditions.

  • Steps involved in performing the cross fibre moves
  • The four basic spinal routines
  • Therapeutic movements
  • Eastern and Western approaches to disease
  • Complimentary therapies in our health care system



** Dress Code: Required to wear white t-shirts and black trousers. Participants must bring along 2 bath towels
Who Should AttendHome therapists, or those that just want some great techniques to use on their family at home. Massage therapists and health professional who are keen to include Bowen therapy into their skill set.

What to do Next?

Certificate: Certificate of Completion from Australasian Academy of Wellness Therapies.

Progression: Certificate in Musculoskeletal Therapy/ Diploma of Musculoskeletal Therapy/ Advanced Diploma in Musculoskeletal Therapy.
