Introduction:
Ayurveda is a system of natural healing. It is both a science and an art of holistic well being. In today’s world, toxins are everywhere from the air we breathe, food we eat to stress in our lives. Ayurvedic facial therapy works on restoring the natural health of your skin using herbs, flowers, essential oils and naturally occurring minerals. Ayurvedic cosmetics bring the skin to its own perfect balance. The emphasis in Ayurveda is placed on the prakruthi or constitution and the present condition or vikruthi of a person’s skin and selecting the appropriate ingredients that possess the needed qualities and actions to remedy that condition.
