Introduction:
The use of hydrotherapy is a valid mechanism for the preparation and treatment of many different conditions.
Previously hot and cold application has been the realm of the sports trainer, but now the benefits of these treatments are also being employed by the massage therapist. As with all treatments utilised by the therapist, it is important to gain knowledge in their safe application.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to apply hydrotherapy for the relief of discomfort caused by certain conditions. They will gain knowledge on when and how to apply the hot or cold packs to their clients benefit.
** Dress Code: Required to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. Participants must bring along 2 large bath towels
Who Should Attend: Therapists wanting to learn new techniques to help them in their professional practice.This modality will also greatly help you when dealing with athletes to aid in post event recovery.
Certificate: Certificate of Completion from Australasian Academy of Wellness Therapies.
Progression: This course will help the body worker understand the application of hot and cold in the treatment of soft tissue injury
